According to a recent ranking by an online platform that collects data on K-12 schools and colleges in the U.S., a list of 236 public high schools in South Carolina for 2024 has been compiled to assist students and families in making enrollment decisions.
Greenville and North Charleston both secured their positions this year as cities with the highest number of schools in the top 10 rankings. Surprisingly, both cities had two schools each on the list.
Niche awarded A+ overall scores to all the schools in the top 10.
According to Niche’s website, the ranking is determined by analyzing key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents. The ranking factors take into account state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.
