Bradley Ficus, a resident of Jasonville, struck it lucky recently when he won the grand prize of $250,000 from an instant game called Platinum Payout tickets. Ficus purchased the winning ticket at the local Country Mart gas station in Jasonville.
According to the Lottery, Ficus purchases Hoosier Lottery scratch-offs whenever he needs to refuel his vehicle. One day, as he was driving home from work, Ficus noticed that his vehicle’s low fuel light had come on. Without wasting any time, he pulled over at Country Mart to refuel and decided to buy two $10 Platinum Payout tickets while he was there.
After arriving home, Bradley gave his girlfriend the opportunity to select one of the tickets to scratch. As they began scratching the tickets, Bradley’s disbelief suddenly erupted, exclaiming, “No way! This can’t be real!”
When Ficus presented the ticket to his girlfriend, she was astounded to discover that he had won the grand prize of $250,000 in the game. Despite initially believing it was a prank, she informed the lottery officials about the win.
