Galloway Township, NJ Police Searching for Suspect Considered ‘Armed and Dangerous’

The Galloway Township Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a suspect who is armed and considered dangerous, in connection to a stabbing incident.

Charles D. Cook III, a 42-year-old resident of Galloway, has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault, and weapon-related offenses.

A 48-year-old man from Galloway Township, who was the victim in this incident, informed the police that he was trying to rendezvous with an acquaintance at a nearby motel. However, his plans were disrupted when an unfamiliar man emerged from a wooded area and approached him.

The suspect approached the victim, brandished a knife, and demanded money. A physical altercation ensued, which resulted in the victim suffering stab wounds to his face and arm.

The authorities pinpointed Cook as a person of interest during their investigation.
