Gov. Jim Justice has declared Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, as a full-day state holiday for public employees, according to a proclamation issued by him.
“In his proclamation, Governor Justice expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts of the public employees in the State over the past year. He emphasized the importance of the holiday season and stated that it is only fitting and appropriate to grant the public employees of the State additional time off. This would enable them to cherish an extended and delightful holiday with their loved ones.”
