Haley Challenges Trump To A Debate: ‘let’s See What You’re Made Of, Donald’

Aiexpress – Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has once again called on former President Trump to engage in a debate with her on stage. Despite consistent refusals to debate his primary opponents, Haley remains determined to challenge Trump directly.

During a rally in South Carolina, Haley highlighted Trump’s recent assertion that he would outperform her on a mental competency test. This comes in response to Haley’s call for such tests for individuals above the age of 75.

“He became upset and declared that he would undergo a mental competency test and challenge me to one, claiming he would emerge victorious. Whether he would succeed or not, I responded, ‘Alright then, let’s take it to a debate stage and see what you’re made of.’ Bring it on, Donald, show me what you’re capable of,” expressed Haley, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

During the conversation, Haley touched upon the subject of Trump’s mental well-being, referring to an incident where he mistakenly confused her name with that of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) while discussing the Capitol insurrection on January 6th.

Nikki Haley, among others, has raised concerns about Donald Trump’s mental fitness, suggesting that it is not as sharp as it was during his 2016 presidential campaign. This has led to increased scrutiny regarding Trump’s mental competency.

During a recent conversation, Haley discussed the topic of Jan. 6 and expressed her belief that there may have been confusion on that particular day. She also reiterated her ongoing advocacy for implementing a mental competency test for individuals above the age of 75.

Haley, at 52 years old, is more than two decades younger than Trump, who is 77.

Trump chose not to participate in any of the GOP primary debates in recent months, frequently using his substantial lead in the polls as justification for his absence.

Despite his absence, Trump’s standing in the polls remains unaffected. He secured a significant victory over his competitor, Haley, in New Hampshire, winning by a margin of almost 11 points. Furthermore, he emerged triumphant in the Iowa caucuses, with a commanding lead of nearly 30 points.

Haley remains determined to stay in the race, despite the initial setbacks. She is focused on her home state of South Carolina, where the primary will take place at the end of February.
