Maj. Michael Haley, the husband of GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley, responded to former President Donald Trump’s inquiry about his location with a meme on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Haley, a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard, has been deployed to Africa since June 2023.
During a campaign rally in Conway, South Carolina, President Trump took a swipe at his Republican primary rival Nikki Haley, disregarding the truth in the process.
During a visit to Mar-a-Lago, she approached me, assuring that she would never run against me. Her husband accompanied her, although he was not present at the time. Curiously, he seemed to have disappeared, leaving many questions unanswered. It was as if he had a premonition about what was to come.

In response to the situation, Candidate Haley expressed her perspective on her personal X account. She emphasized that Michael is currently deployed and serving our country, a significant sacrifice that the other person involved seemingly lacks understanding of. She made it clear that someone who consistently disrespects the sacrifices made by military families should not hold the position of commander in chief.
