The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) confirmed that a tragic incident occurred in Richland County on Saturday evening, involving a three-car collision.

Around 6:25 p.m., a tragic incident took place at Two Notch Road and O’Neil Court in Dentsville, resulting in one fatality and three injuries. According to the preliminary findings of the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP), a northbound 2015 Cadillac collided with a west-facing 2022 Kia, which subsequently led to an eastbound 2011 Audi striking the Kia.

The collision took place at approximately 7:23 p.m. at the intersection of East Blackstock Road and Red Canyon Drive. A 2011 Nissan sedan, trying to make a westward turn onto East Blackstock Road from Red Canyon Drive, crashed into a 2013 BMW SUV that was traveling north on East Blackstock Road.

32-year-old Erica Shaquil Wright tragically lost her life in the crash, while both drivers were admitted to the hospital for their injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation, and a forensic examination has been scheduled for Monday.

Motorcycle Driver Dies in Tragic Accident in Lancaster County

A tragic motorcycle accident took place in Lancaster County on Saturday night, claiming the life of Charles Polston, a 46-year-old individual. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported this unfortunate incident.

The incident happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Potter Road near Balkum Road. Polston was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he collided with a Ford pickup truck that was trying to turn onto Potter Road from a private driveway.

Polston passed away from his injuries at a nearby Lancaster hospital. The Ford driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, came out of the accident without any harm.
