Ohio Family Was Searching For Relative Since December And Found Stuffed In The Chimney Of A Rental Home

Aiexpress – A man’s body was found stuffed inside the chimney of the Georgia house he was renting after he had been missing for weeks.

According to local news sources, Bibb County sheriff’s deputies say that 43-year-old Anthony Rumplik’s body was found Friday in the chimney of a house in Macon. He had been missing since late December.

Another person living with Rumplik said that on Friday, he saw a ladder leaning against the house. He climbed the ladder and looked up. There was a blanket in the chimney.

Officer Leon Jones of the Bibb County Coroner’s Office said that Rumplik’s body showed signs of having been dead for several weeks.

Anthony Rumplik’s family from Ohio recently traveled to Macon in search of him. According to his sister, Marlo Rumplik, the last contact they had with Anthony was on December 28. It appears that Anthony ended up in Macon after his motorcycle broke down during a trip to Florida last year.

Rumplik went missing after his Macon landlord found the door to his rental house open and thought it looked fishy.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation will conduct an examination. Deputies say they are still looking into the case.

During the search, Marlo Rumplik said that the sheriff’s office wasn’t doing enough to find her brother because they saw him as “just another drug addict.”

In an interview, Marlo Rumplik said that her brother had schizophrenia and kidney failure. She said he had been homeless in Macon for a while and had been to the hospital many times.
