Rudy Giuliani’s doorman reportedly intercepted a process server who was attempting to deliver a lawsuit to the former New York City mayor, according to RadarOnline.com.
A server armed with a $25,000 lawsuit from the accounting firm Giuliani hired in 2018 to review his finances during his divorce from Judith Nathan approached Giuliani’s doorman, according to court documents dated November 22.
According to an affidavit filed by the server, the doorman, concierge, and security personnel refused to grant the deponent access to the building.
According to court documents, Shibi not only left a copy of the lawsuit with the Manhattan doorman, but also sent a second copy through the U.S. Post Office to make sure that Giuliani was fully informed about BST & Co.’s determination to collect the $10,000 retainer and an additional $15,000 in legal fees for all the difficulties it had faced.
The lawsuit stated that the Plaintiff has made demands for payment from the Defendant on three separate occasions: October 11, 2021, December 9, 2021, and August 9, 2023. Despite these demands, no payment has been received.
Rudy Giuliani, the politician who was once hailed as “America’s Mayor” in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attack, is now facing a multitude of lawsuits and criminal cases. These legal battles are linked to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, which resulted in the removal of former President Donald Trump.
In a recent report by RadarOnline.com, it was revealed that former New York City mayor and lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, is facing a $1.3 million lawsuit filed by his longtime attorney, Robert J. Costello. The lawsuit alleges that Giuliani has failed to pay his legal fees related to a racketeering indictment in Georgia and his involvement with the House Select Committee’s investigation into the January 6 attack on the Capitol.
Giuliani is facing a whopping $148 million in penalties for defaming Georgia poll workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. Surprisingly, Freeman and Moss took legal action against him a second time for reiterating the same offensive allegations in an interview with Newsmax shortly after the verdict.
