A man from Atlantic City is accused of Holdiing two women hostage

Justin Williams, aged 39, is currently facing a total of twelve charges. These charges encompass a range of offenses, including multiple counts of robbery, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats.

Police officers were dispatched to a residence on North Georgia Avenue at approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday, December 31st. The initial call concerned two women who had been taken hostage and assaulted by an acquaintance.

When the officers arrived at the residence, they discovered a woman who had managed to escape. Williams ultimately turned himself in to the police.

One woman was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus for medical treatment of her injuries, while the other woman chose not to receive treatment.

Williams faces multiple charges, including criminal restraint, certain person not allowed to possess a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and simple assault. He is currently held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
