Between November 1, 2017, and September 1, 2021, Aquino committed a series of crimes. During this time, she engaged in the unauthorized writing of approximately 170 checks from HVCS bank accounts, diverting the funds for her expenses, such as rent.
The District Attorney’s Office discovered her actions during an investigation, which resulted in her arrest on May 2, 2022.
