Three cars crashed early on Wednesday morning, killing at least one person, according to reports

On January 31, 2024, a devastating incident took place at around 7:41 AM when the California Highway Patrol (CHP) swiftly responded to a fatal multi-vehicle collision that occurred on the Old Hwy 395 Bridge. The collision involved a black Jaguar sedan, a white Nissan sedan, and an unidentified red vehicle.

Initial reports indicate that a black Jaguar and a white Nissan were involved in a serious collision, causing the black Jaguar to roll over multiple times before coming to rest on its tires. The collision, which involved three vehicles, occurred on the bridge and caused both lanes of traffic to be blocked.

Emergency services, including the North County Fire Department (NCOMM FD) and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF), quickly responded to the scene. CPR was immediately started at the accident site, but unfortunately, there was a reported fatality. The CHP verified that all lanes were blocked, leading to a major traffic disturbance.

During the investigation, it came to light that the collision caused another accident involving a red Nissan and a black Infiniti, which resulted in a rollover. This incident added to the complexity of the situation on the Old Hwy 395 Bridge.
